Job summary

APL Logistics in the Netherlands is seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager to join the Key Account Management Team. You will own key client relationships, drive revenue growth, and shape strategic plans across the customer portfolio in international logistics.

The role requires at least five years in logistics, fluency in Dutch and English, and strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Dynamics. We offer a global team, a salary range of €57.450 to €88.112, pension, and ongoing development

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in logistics, preferably international trade logistics.
• Bachelor/Master of Business Administration, preferably Logistics.
• Fluency in Dutch and English; German is a plus.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong time management and planning skills; ability to set priorities.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales targets.
• Manage quotes and contracts.
• Improve profitability of the services offered.
• Increase volume, sales and profit.
• Drive customer projects and growth.
• Chair/management of QBR's and ABR's.
• Develop a solid 12–18 month pipeline.
• Strategic account planning and portfolio development.
• Stakeholder relationship development across all customer levels.
