Job summary

Bol.com B.V. is seeking a Senior Category Manager IT to act as a strategic partner for Product & Tech, developing procurement strategies that drive technology ambitions and enable scale.

You will engage with senior stakeholders to influence decisions using specialist expertise and commercial judgment, extending beyond contract negotiations. You will navigate a complex supplier portfolio, negotiate high-value deals, and seek opportunities for innovation while ensuring compliance and long-term

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technology procurement experience.
• Proven track record of negotiating complex, high-value contracts.
• Ability to understand technology roadmaps and vendor strategies.
• Strong commercial judgement and stakeholder influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine procurement strategies across the core technology portfolio including cyber security, network, data centre and hosting.
• Lead complex negotiations with strategic suppliers.
• Advise leadership on procurement risks and supplier management.
• Identify innovation opportunities across the technology ecosystem.
• Manage critical supplier relationships in collaboration with vendor management.
• Create value through risk reduction and commercial optimisation.
