Job summary

Alpine is seeking an experienced freelance IT Lead to own IT across vendors, systems and priorities, reporting to the CFO. This hands-on, coordinating role steers external suppliers and defines what good looks like in a scaling SaaS-heavy consumer goods environment.

You’ll manage MSP relationships, drive Microsoft 365 governance, data security and GDPR compliance, and align IT projects with business priorities for sustainable growth. Expected starting Q1 2027.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as an IT Lead or CIO in a mid-size, international, SaaS-heavy environment.
• Experience steering and selecting IT vendors; ability to hold suppliers accountable.
• Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, identity management, security).
• Familiarity with SaaS governance, GDPR, and practical security frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the IT function across vendors, systems and priorities.
• Drive Microsoft 365 governance, data infrastructure and security governance.
• Create oversight of SaaS landscape, plug-ins, GDPR compliance and access policies.
• Prioritize and manage IT projects, vendor relations, and reporting to the CFO.
