Job summary

JP Gray is seeking a Commodity Buyer to develop and execute sourcing strategies for indirect categories, including IT services, facilities management, and professional services, in an international, high-tech environment.

You will partner with internal stakeholders, lead tender and RFQ processes, negotiate contracts, manage supplier performance, and drive cost savings while ensuring business continuity through strong supplier governance. Hybrid work model offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (HBO level) or equivalent.
• Several years of procurement, sourcing, or category management experience.
• Experience with indirect spend categories such as IT, professional services, facilities, or workforce solutions.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management capabilities.
• Experience with tenders, RFQs, and commercial contract negotiations.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned indirect spend categories.
• Lead supplier selection, tender, and RFQ processes.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, framework contracts, and service agreements.
• Manage supplier relationships and drive continuous supplier performance improvements.
• Identify and realize cost-saving opportunities.
• Support procurement transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor supplier risks and ensure business continuity.
• Partner closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and procurement requirements.
• Manage contract renewals and support supplier governance activities.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and applicable regulations.
• Analyze spend data and provide reporting on procurement performance, savings, and supplier effectiveness.
