Job summary

DP World seeks a Category Procurement Lead – Indirect to drive execution of sourcing strategies across Europe for facility management and other indirect categories. You will align local sites with central category plans, manage supplier performance, and deliver cost efficiencies while ensuring compliance and risk control.

The role requires 5–8 years in category management, a relevant degree, and openness to frequent travel across Europe.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in category management, preferably indirect categories such as facility services.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required; CIPS/NEVI or equivalent certification preferred.
• Knowledge of soft and hard facility services, office supplies, PPE and related areas.
• Ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Draft and execute procurement sourcing plans aligned with the Category Management strategy.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify needs and deliver procurement solutions.
• Lead sourcing projects, including supplier selection, negotiations and contract execution.
• Manage supplier relationships to improve performance and value.
• Analyze market trends, cost drivers and supplier landscapes for decision making.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives and build a sustainable savings pipeline.
• Support consolidation of spend and optimization of supplier portfolios across Europe.
• Ensure contracts are reviewed, validated and compliant with legal teams.
• Maintain category data, cost analysis and performance tracking.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, standardisation and process improvement.
• Contribute to risk-management strategies for supply continuity and competition.
