Job summary

Acta Marine is seeking an HR Business Partner in the Rotterdam area to advise managers on HR topics, manage employee relations and drive HR projects. You will ensure compliant HR processes, oversee onboarding/offboarding, and contribute to people initiatives in a dynamic maritime environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s HBO in HRM, Business Administration or related.
• Minimum 5 years HR advisory or generalist experience.
• Solid knowledge of labour law, HR processes and employee relations.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; strong communication skills.
• Based in the Rotterdam area; maritime/offshore experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advising managers and employees on HR topics such as performance management, absenteeism, development, disciplinary matters and labour conditions.
• Supporting managers in applying HR policies, procedures and labour legislation.
• Coordinating onboarding, offboarding, contract changes and personnel administration.
• Ensuring HR practices comply with labour law, internal policies, GDPR and governance.
• Supporting absence management, reintegration and employee wellbeing initiatives.
• Contributing to HR projects related to Performance Management, Learning & Development, process optimization, systems and organizational development.
• Supporting HR reporting, data quality and KPI tracking.
• Contributing to digitalization of HR processes.
