Job summary

Acta Marine, based in Rotterdam, is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner who thrives in a fast-paced, maritime setting. You will advise managers and employees on performance, absenteeism, development, and labour relations, owning end-to-end HR processes with discretion and integrity.

This role combines tactical and operational HR topics, including onboarding, offboarding, contract changes, and HR governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR advisory or generalist experience.
• Solid knowledge of labour law and HR processes.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Advise managers and employees on HR topics, including performance and absenteeism.
• Support and coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and personnel administration.
• Ensure HR practices comply with labour law, GDPR, and internal policies.
• Support HR reporting, data quality, and KPI tracking.
• Contribute to HR projects in Learning & Development and process improvements.
