Job summary

Whiffle, a Dutch high-tech scale-up, seeks an HR Business Partner who combines hands-on HR with strategic impact. You will own core HR operations—contracts, payroll, absence, leave, benefits and changes—and partner with the CFO and Leadership Team to keep HR data accurate and compliant.

You will work with C-level and team leads to translate Whiffle’s strategy into practical people initiatives that boost ownership, accountability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HRM, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
• Solid knowledge of Dutch HR administration, employment conditions and law.
• Experience advising managers on people topics at management level.
• Ability to switch between strategic discussions and operational detail.
• Strong Dutch and English communication.
• Discretion and integrity with confidential matters.

Responsibilities

• Own core HR operations: contracts, payroll, absence, leave, benefits and changes.
• Ensure HR data and policies are accurate and compliant with Dutch law.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, tools and systems.
• Act as sparring partner to management on people matters.
• Know when to advise, coach or execute tasks.
• Support development of a more performance-oriented organisation.
• Translate strategic direction into practical people initiatives.
