Job summary

Beyond Sports is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to lead HR across the Netherlands, Australia, and the UK hubs. The role blends strategic advisory with hands-on delivery, focusing on workforce effectiveness, talent management, and culture in a global sports tech environment.

You'll partner with senior leaders, shape people policies, own the Workday ecosystem, and coach the HR team while scaling operations to support rapid international growth.

Qualifications

• Proven HR experience supporting a growing, international organization—specifically within the UK and Netherlands.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch and UK labor law, with a track record of successfully managing complex employee relations matters.
• Experience with Workday or a similar core HRIS, including an understanding of data integrity, reporting, and payroll hand‑offs.
• A proven "player‑coach" mindset, equally comfortable providing high‑level strategic advice and rolling up their sleeves for hands‑on execution.
• Demonstrated experience managing or mentoring HR professionals and building internal team capability.
• Excellent relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior and middle management.
• Experience managing alternative workforce models, including standardizing and auditing freelancer/contractor compliance.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the regional HR Lead for NL, UK, and Australian hubs.
• Translating global people strategy into localized, measurable business actions that elevate our culture.
• Driving major People Projects within the NL and UK offices, aligning with our broader Group-wide vision while enhancing local operational efficiency.
• Owning our Workday ecosystem, overseeing regional payroll integration, data integrity, and leveraging analytics to provide leadership insights.
• Standardizing and managing our freelancer processes to maintain operational flexibility while mitigating compliance risks.
• Coordinating regional HR audits and keeping employment policies and contracts aligned with evolving regulations.
• Line managing and developing the HR team, actively building capability within the function.
