Job summary

Karl Lagerfeld, Amsterdam HQ, is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to drive strategic and hands-on HR support for HQ functions. You will partner with senior leadership to translate people needs into effective HR solutions in line with policies and local laws.

You will collaborate with the broader HR team on projects across the organization, ensuring consistent employee experience and a proactive approach to performance, talent, and organizational development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years HR Business Partner experience in international environment.
• Strong partnering with managers and stakeholders at different levels.
• Solid knowledge of HR practices, employee relations and employment legislation, especially Dutch Labour Law.
• Experience in performance management, talent management and organizational development.
• Excellent communication in English; Dutch language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted sparring partner to HQ managers and employees on a broad range of HR topics.
• Provide first-line HR advice and support throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Partner with managers on performance management, employee relations, absenteeism and other people-related matters.
• Advise managers on employment law, company policies and HR processes, ensuring a consistent and compliant approach.
• Support and coach managers in developing their teams, including talent management, succession planning and career development.
• Identify people and organizational needs within the supported functions and translate these into appropriate HR actions and solutions.
• Work closely with the wider HR team to ensure a consistent employee experience and effective implementation of HR policies and initiatives.
• Support organizational changes and other people-related projects, providing HR guidance and ensuring effective communication and implementation.
• Take the lead on or contribute to various HR projects and initiatives at HQ and across the organization.
