Job summary

Hunkemöller is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support leaders across the International HQ in Hilversum. You will balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced retail context, driving people initiatives and organizational design.

You’ll lead change and workforce planning, coach managers, and collaborate with global HR to create a high-performing, engaging workforce across the Netherlands and beyond.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience as HR Business Partner or comparable senior HR role.
• Solid knowledge of Dutch employment law and employee relations.
• Experience supporting leaders at different levels, including senior leadership.
• Experience with organisational change, transformation, and complex HR challenges.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience interpreting HR data and translating insights into actions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders across HQ departments on all people-related topics.
• Translate business priorities into effective HR initiatives and solutions.
• Coach and challenge managers on leadership, team effectiveness, and engagement.
• Support workforce planning, talent development and retention strategies.
• Navigate complex employee relations cases and provide practical, compliant advice.
• Lead and develop the HQ HR Operations team (2 employees) and drive process improvements.
