Job summary

Topcon Europe Medical B.V. is seeking an experienced Purchaser & Demand Planner to join our Procurement team in the Netherlands. You will manage demand planning and purchasing activities to ensure materials and services are available at the right time, quality, and cost.

Reporting to the Manager Procurement, you will support continuity of supply chain and drive operational excellence across the business, collaborating with Finance, Operations and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• NEVI-1 certification is preferred.
• Procurement certifications such as CPSM or CPPM are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders for goods and services and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimal stock availability.
• Track and expedite purchase orders to prevent supply disruptions.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, and procurement documentation.
• Support supplier management activities, including quotations, pricing and delivery schedules.
• Analyze inventory and purchasing data to identify trends, efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
• Resolve issues related to procurement, deliveries, invoice discrepancies and product availability.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations and Supply Chain for effective planning and communication.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in purchasing and inventory processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable legal requirements.
