Job summary
GXO Logistics, Inc. in Lelystad is seeking a proactive Business Controller to partner with site leadership and drive financial performance. You will oversee monthly closings, manage P&L, and support strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate has a finance or business degree, 3–5 years in finance/controlling, strong stakeholder management, ERP experience, and advanced Excel. English proficiency is essential; 3PL experience is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Economics, or similar.
- 3–5 years of experience in finance and/or controlling.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Proficiency in English; 3PL experience is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Advising site leadership and site manager on financial and controlling matters.
- Leading month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Managing full P&L.
- Developing and maintaining robust internal control systems.
- Leading budgeting and weekly and monthly forecasting processes.
- Creating sales invoices for completed services and discussing with site manager and customer.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify cost drivers and improve financial outcomes.
