Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Lelystad is seeking a proactive Plant Controller to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with the Site Manager and stakeholders to advise on financial and controlling matters.

You will lead month-end/year-end closes, manage full P&L, and develop robust internal controls while steering budgeting and forecasting. English proficiency and ERP/Excel skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Economics, or similar.
• 3–5 years of experience in finance and/or controlling.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• Experience in a 3PL environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Advising site leadership and site manager on financial and controlling matters.
• Leading month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Managing full P&L.
• Developing and maintaining robust internal control systems.
• Leading budgeting and weekly/monthly forecasting processes and taking corrective actions.
• Creating sales invoices for completed services and discussing them with the site manager and customer.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify cost drivers and improve financial outcomes.
