Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Schiphol is seeking an experienced Site Controller to partner with site leadership and international stakeholders. You will manage month-end and year-end closing, own the P&L, and oversee local accounting, while driving cost control and financial performance across countries.

The role requires a Finance or related degree and 2–3 years of experience, with ERP and Excel proficiency. English fluency and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, or a related field is required.
• 2–3 years of experience in finance or controlling.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Fluency in English with strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Experience in a 3PL or logistics environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as finance business partner to site leadership and cross-functional teams to drive cost efficiency.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing, manage the P&L, and oversee local accounting functions.
• Lead budgeting and weekly/monthly forecasts with corrective actions as needed.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure financial compliance and accuracy.
• Create sales invoices for services and discuss them with site managers and customers.
