Job summary

APG Asset Management seeks a seasoned Business Data Analyst to bridge business needs with data solutions within the COO Data Office. You will help ensure data is accessible, governed, and reliably delivered across asset classes, aligning with governance frameworks and patterns.

You will translate requirements, identify gaps, and work with data engineers to design scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, enabling robust data products and analytics in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in econometrics, mathematics, data science, economics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document data requirements with business stakeholders, including data flow diagrams.
• Translate business needs into structured data requirements for data teams.
• Identify data gaps and liaise with business and data teams to address them.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert within the Data Office on tooling, solutions and data initiatives.
• Communicate data concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Act as the link between Business and IT.
• Develop understanding of ingested data and metrics and design robust ETL/ELT pipelines with data engineers.
• Support data governance initiatives and help define data quality standards.
