APG is seeking a seasoned Business Data Analyst to join the Data Governance & Architecture team. You will bridge business requirements with data solutions across asset classes and ensure data is findable, accessible, and usable for stakeholders.

Work involves defining data requirements with stakeholders, shaping data models, and building robust ETL/ELT pipelines with data engineers. A multinational environment and English proficiency are essential; 2–3 days remote work offered and a competitive

Qualifications

8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst.
Degree in econometrics, mathematics, data science, economics or related field.
Ability to advise and act as sparring partner to senior management.
Experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies in enterprise-level projects.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and synthesizing skills.
Business analysis or project management in financial/asset management.
Excellent English communication.
Flexible, resilient team-player mindset with initiative.

Responsibilities

Understand, gather, define, and document data requirements with business stakeholders.
Translate business needs into clear data requirements for data teams.
Identify data gaps and liaise with teams to address them.
Act as Subject Matter Expert on tooling, solutions, and data initiatives.
Communicate data concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
