Job summary

APG Asset Management in Amsterdam seeks a seasoned Business Data Analyst Governance & Architecture to bridge business requirements with data solutions and ensure governance across data platforms. You will work with the Data Office to deliver high-quality information products for asset classes, aligning data processes with architecture standards.

You will document data needs, shape data models, and support data pipelines with engineers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst
• Strong English communication skills
• Experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies in enterprise projects
• Exposure to financial industry or asset management is a plus
• Wamiliarity with data modeling and ETL/ELT pipelines

Responsibilities

• Document and translate data requirements from business stakeholders
• Create data flow diagrams and ensure alignment with data governance frameworks
• Define structured data requirements for data products and information products
• Identify data gaps and coordinate with data teams to fill them
• Support Data Office strategic initiatives around tooling and data assets
• Communicate data concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Act as linking pin between Business & IT
• Design data models (physical, logical, conceptual) and robust pipelines with data engineers
• Improve data discoverability and ensure policy-compliant data usage
• Support data governance initiatives with data modelers & architects
