Job summary

EPAM Systems in the Netherlands seeks an Enterprise Data & AI Program Director to lead strategic, multi-year data and AI programs from Amsterdam and Eindhoven in a hybrid model.

You will shape governance, build executive‑level client relationships, and drive measurable business value while aligning program objectives with EPAM capabilities. The role emphasizes strategy, risk governance and commercial alignment, with mentorship of delivery leaders.

Qualifications

• Experience managing large, enterprise-scale data and AI programs.
• Ability to translate data/AI strategy into actionable plans with ROI.
• Strong commercial acumen, budgets, risk governance and influencing contractual terms.
• Knowledge of data platforms, AI and Generative AI concepts (ML, LLMs, MLOps).
• Awareness of data protection and ethical considerations in data/AI.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement with C-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the strategic roadmap for large-scale data and AI programs, ensuring value realization.
• Act as senior escalation point on program health, risk and outcomes for executive stakeholders.
• Oversee governance frameworks embedding data protection, ethical AI, and regulatory compliance.
• Review technical strategies for risk/value without leading detailed solution design.
• Define measurable success metrics reflecting client objectives beyond delivery milestones.
• Shape commercial terms, scope, and delivery models for large engagements.
• Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders and represent programs in governance forums.
• Mentor delivery managers and program leads while preserving operational ownership.
• Contribute to business development by supporting bid strategy and shaping deals.
