Job summary

Catawiki is seeking an experienced Operational Leader to bring structure, clear priorities, and reliable execution to the Art team. You’ll translate priorities into practical plans, drive cross‑functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and others, and help the team take ownership of outcomes.

You’ll support the Senior Category Manager in turning the category vision into initiatives that improve the buyer/seller experience, while fostering growth and accountability across the team.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of creating structure and executing priorities in a category, sales, or commercial team.
• Experience leading teams, giving feedback, coaching, and supporting growth.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional work and manage dependencies.
• Strong data-driven decision making using customer or market insights.
• Excellent communication adapted to stakeholders.
• Genuine interest in contemporary art and the primary art market.

Responsibilities

• Create a clear operating rhythm with owners, milestones, and follow-up.
• Improve day-to-day operations by clarifying workflows and handovers.
• Build team ownership by setting goals and coaching.
• Support growth through regular 1:1s and constructive feedback.
• Use performance insights to guide action across teams.
• Translate strategy into delivery with cross-functional initiatives.
• Identify category growth opportunities and turn them into initiatives.
