Job summary

Tribe Engineering is seeking a proactive Business Developer to expand our customer base across industrial, maritime, offshore, infrastructure and high-tech markets. You will identify opportunities, approach new customers and develop commercial relationships that reflect our technical expertise.

You’ll build trust with engineers, procurement and senior stakeholders while managing proposals, pricing and contracts. A driving licence and willingness to travel internationally are required.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5+ years in business development or related roles.
• Experience in engineering services or industrial technology.
• Proven ability to generate new business and manage complex sales processes.
• Fluent English; Dutch strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential customers in target industries.
• Develop new opportunities for engineering, commissioning, automation and services.
• Build relationships with technical decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Understand customer challenges and translate them into engineering solutions.
• Manage the commercial process from initial contact through proposal, negotiation and agreement.
• Develop and maintain a healthy, qualified sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with engineering, recruitment and management teams to assess opportunities and delivery capacity.
• Prepare commercial proposals and contribute to pricing and contracts.
