Job summary

Exotec is seeking a Business Development Leader to drive new customer acquisition in the Amsterdam area. You will hunt opportunities, coordinate events, and maintain key accounts while collaborating with Marketing to generate impactful campaigns.

The role requires 5-10 years in BD/Sales, a hunter mindset, hands-on execution, and fluency in German and English. Travel is required up to 30-50% due to field-based responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Sales, Engineering, Consulting, Supply Chain, or Operations.
• Proven track record of pipeline generation and revenue growth.
• Excellent communication, ownership, and results-driven mindset.
• Fluent German and English; other European languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leverage partners and hunt new customers, targeting Supply Chain and Operations Directors.
• Coordinate BD-driven events and tradeshows (e.g., LogiMAT).
• Maintain and expand key account contacts and partners via LinkedIn.
• Qualify incoming leads to evaluate their potential for Exotec.
• Ensure proper handover of opportunities to Sales.
• Collaborate with Marketing and provide regular insights.
