Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Principal or Senior Principal for the DTAS Global Strategic Advisory Consulting practice. You will partner with life sciences clients to address strategic, technological, and operational challenges, shaping high‑impact engagements for VP+ stakeholders.

You will own client engagements end‑to‑end, drive satisfaction and value, and contribute to revenue growth while guiding cross‑functional teams and mentoring the next generation of consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, graduate degree or MBA not required but advantageous.
• Minimum 12 years’ professional experience in consulting or the pharmaceutical/life sciences industry, with demonstrated career progression.
• Strong commitment to and experience within the life sciences and/or healthcare space.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing teams, developing people, and delivering high‑impact client engagements.
• Proven ability to build lasting client relationships grounded in trust, partnership, and mutual value creation.
• Willingness and ability to travel to client locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional advisory engagements across DTAS and broader ecosystem.
• Translate technologies (AI/ML, digital health, data interoperability) into strategic client implications.
• Own client engagements end‑to‑end, ensuring satisfaction and value.
• Develop and deliver tailored proposals to meet revenue targets.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership across projects.
• Mentor and coach teams to sustain consulting excellence.
