Job summary

Ecolab in the Purolite group seeks an Account Executive – Purification Technologies for the Netherlands. You will drive revenue growth, manage key accounts, and develop new business with a consultative sales approach across water treatment and related industries.

You will visit customers, build a robust pipeline, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions and optimize resin technologies. Fluency in Dutch and English is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful technical sales or field sales support experience
• 3+ years of experience within water treatment, ion exchange, purification technologies or related markets
• Dutch & English required; German an asset
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work autonomously
• Account leadership experience with multilevel plant or facilities management

Responsibilities

• Promote the full range of Purolite ion exchange and specialty resin technologies.
• Contacting & visiting customers and prospects for at least 50% of working time to meet targets.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through prospecting and customer engagement.
• Manage expenses in line with the budget.
• Process orders with complete information and accuracy.
• Propose marketing strategies to promote Purolite products.
• Provide technical marketplace support to convert contacts to regular customers.
• Assist in project calculations and plant optimization on-site.
• Participate in technical seminars for water treatment.
• Suggest solutions to issues with after-sales support and sales cycles.
• Improve market intelligence on competitors and pricing across segments
