Job summary

Ecolab seeks an Account Executive for Purification Technologies in the Netherlands to drive revenue through consultative sales, account leadership, and new business development. You will manage a diverse customer base, build strong relationships, and promote Purolite ion exchange solutions while coordinating marketing efforts and technical support.

You will frequently visit customers and prospects, develop a robust pipeline, and contribute to strategic growth with a focus on efficiency, cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial) or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.)
• 3+ years of successful technical sales or field sales support experience
• 3+ years of experience within water treatment, ion exchange, purification technologies, or related industrial markets
• Knowledge of industries such as food & beverage, life sciences, chemical processing, mining, energy or industrial manufacturing
• High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn internal business systems)
• Dutch & English is a must; German an asset
• History of working in a field that required autonomy and self-motivation
• Prior experience that required excellent communication skills
• Prior experience that required excellent organizational skills
• Account leadership experience that includes calling on multilevel plant/facilities management to accomplish company goals
• Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multitask

Responsibilities

• Promote the full range of Purolite ion exchange and specialty resin technologies.
• Contacting and visiting customers and prospects for at least 50% of working time to achieve targets.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities through prospecting, networking and customer engagement.
• Control expenses in accordance with the budget.
• Complete orders with all necessary information prior to processing.
• Propose marketing strategies to promote the Purolite brand and develop sales of Purolite ion exchange resins.
• Provide technical support in the marketplace to convert contacts to regular customers.
• Calculate projects and/or plant optimization.
• On-site intervention and audits at industrial sites for optimal resin use and issue resolution.
• Participate in technical seminars for water treatment.
• Propose best solutions to commercial and technical problems encountered (pre- and post-sale).
• Improve market intelligence regarding competition (people, strategies, pricing, share per segment)

Ecolab has an immediate need for an Account Executive – Purification Technologies, Netherlands in our Purolite group. This role combines territory management, account development and new business acquisition to drive profitable growth across a diverse customer base. What You Will Do:

• • Promote the full range of Purolite™ ion exchange and specialty resin technologies.
  • Contacting & Visiting Customers and Prospects for at least 50% of his working time to at least achieve the agreed budgeted targets.

  • Participate in technical seminars for water treatment.
  • Propose the best solutions to commercial and technical problems encountered by helping before and after sales.
  • Improve market intelligence regarding the competition in terms of people, strategies, pricing, share per segment

Preferred Qualifications:
