Job summary

Arc’teryx Roermond Store Manager position seeking a leader to guide a team of 15, deliver outstanding guest experiences and uphold our outdoors-centric values.

You will oversee daily operations, develop staff, manage inventory and budgets, and foster community partnerships with ambassadors and local groups. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership, storytelling, and brand engagement within a premium outdoor retailer.

Qualifications

• Leadership: 3–5 years in retail management leading and developing high‑performing teams.
• Budgeting, forecasting, expense control with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Delivers exceptional guest experiences and fosters brand loyalty.
• Strong organisational skills, scheduling & inventory management.
• Fluency in local language (e.g. German) and English.
• Willingness to work peak retail periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Champion the Arc'teryx Vision, Purpose and Values by cultivating a high‑performing, inclusive and guest‑focused team culture.
• Recruit, onboard and continuously develop team members to unlock their full potential; provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Lead from the floor at least 80% of your week, modelling best‑in‑class service and ensuring guest interactions reflect excellence.
• Own product and inventory management—run walkthroughs, lead visual merchandising and storytelling to boost sell‑through.
• Build partnerships with local organisations, ambassadors and influencers to increase brand awareness and community impact.
• Oversee scheduling, labour planning, inventory, visual merchandising and brand compliance.
• Drive store profitability by managing budgets, forecasting sales and controlling expenses.
