Job summary

Wakuli is seeking a Part-Time Store Manager for one location in Den Bosch. You will spend about 80% on the shop floor and 20% on management tasks, guiding a team of 6-8 baristas and ensuring excellence in service and store performance.

You will lead the daily operations, hire and onboard staff, and drive growth across the store while maintaining Wakuli’s coffee-forward culture and standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading teams in hospitality, retail or operations.
• Strong coaching, accountability and performance growth.
• Strong ownership, structure and service quality.
• Fluency in English & Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Lead a store team and shift leads; coach and develop 6–8 baristas.
• Own store performance: revenue, waste, staffing, compliance and standards.
• Manage scheduling with the lead to keep the store open 365 days a year.
• Monitor stock, safety, reporting and process; surface risks and opportunities.
• Share best practices with the Store Management Team to support expansion.

Part-Time Store Manager Den Bosch (32 hours)

Starting a.s.a.p.

a part-time Store Manager position. Based on 32 hours per week, with around 80% of those hours on shift and the remainder dedicated to management tasks. A 28 hour contract could also be negotiable for the right person. The salary band is based on a 32 hour contract.

We’re looking for a strong, driven Store Manager to help us expand our company culture, create consistency and drive performance in our Groningen Store.

You manage the daily operation, lead the team with clarity, take initiative and are accountable for results. In short: we’d expect you to combine operational excellence with people-first management to ensure we can build strong, adaptable teams that support our brand & values.

What you’ll do

You’re responsible for one Wakuli location in Den Bosch, a Team Lead supporting the shift management and a team of 6-8 baristas. Your role is hands on, with 80% of your time on the shop floor whilst coaching, guiding and challenging your team to make each other and the store better each week.

Operations and results

• You own the performance of your stores: revenue, waste, team, compliance and standards
• You support scheduling (together with your lead) to ensure we are open 365 days of the year
• You monitor stock, safety, reporting and process, and take action where needed
• You surface risks and opportunities early, and keep things moving forward
• You share best practice with our growing Store Management Team to support our expansion

What we’re looking for

This is a role for someone who’s done the work of leading a (retail) team. You know what good leadership and great customer experience looks like, and you’re ready to bring it into every store you touch.

You bring:

• 3+ years of experience leading teams in hospitality, retail or operations
• A track record of managing people: coaching, holding accountable, growing performance
• Strong operational instincts. You see problems before they expand
• A sharp sense of ownership, structure and service quality
• Fluency in English & Dutch
• Availability of 32 hours/week, including at least 1 day on the weekend
