Job summary

Wakuli is seeking a part-time Store Manager for our Groningen location. You will lead daily operations, coach a team of 6-8 baristas, and drive performance with a hands-on approach; 80% on the shop floor and 20% on management tasks.

A 28-hour contract could also be negotiable for the right person. We offer a growth-focused environment with a fast-scaling impact, direct access to coffee producers, and a strong emphasis on culture and customer experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading teams in hospitality, retail or operations.
• Track record of coaching and growing performance.
• Strong operational instincts and problem-prevention abilities.
• Clear ownership, structure and service quality.
• Fluency in English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a 6-8 person barista/shift team with clarity and compassion.
• Own store performance: revenue, waste, stock and standards.
• Oversee scheduling with leads to ensure open 365 days a year.
• Maintain a welcoming culture with consistent service across stores.
