Job summary

Suitsupply is seeking a Store Development Project Manager in Amsterdam to own the existing store portfolio, map layout, fixtures, and lifecycle data, and deliver end-to-end refits and upgrades with minimal disruption.

You will partner with Store Operations and Facilities, manage budgets and schedules, and lead cross-functional teams to ensure brand standards and safe, on-brand store environments across the network.

Qualifications

  • Experience in retail store development, facilities management, construction project management, or a similar multi-site environment.
  • Proven project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor or contractor management for small-to-mid scale refit or fit-out projects.
  • A structured, data-first approach, comfortable building and maintaining detailed records across a large store portfolio.
  • Working knowledge of which interventions require a full building permit versus lighter-touch works, and how to plan around that distinction.
  • Strong cross-functional stakeholder management, able to work fluently with Retail, Store Operations, and Facilities and represent their needs in project decisions.
  • Practical understanding of store operations and how construction or refit work affects trading.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to stores across the network.

Responsibilities

  • Map and maintain a structured, up-to-date record of existing store data - layout, fixtures, condition, and lifecycle stage - to give the business a single source of truth on the store portfolio.
  • Build and prioritize a pipeline of refit, upgrade, and repair interventions in partnership with the Head of Retail and Head of Operations.
  • Manage refit and upgrade projects end-to-end, including scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and contractor coordination, some of which may require building permits.
  • Partner with Store Operations and Facilities to align project scope and timing with trading calendars, store hours, and operational constraints, minimizing disruption to trading.
  • Track budgets, timelines, and status across all active interventions, and report progress to the Store Development Lead.
  • Ensure all refit and upgrade work meets brand, visual merchandising, and safety standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers, sequencing their work efficiently across the portfolio.
  • Support select new store development projects alongside the Expansion Store Development Director.

As the Store Development Project Manager, you will own the existing store portfolio, mapping every store's layout, fixtures, condition, and lifecycle stage to builda single sourceof truth for the business. You will use this data toidentifywhere refits, upgrades, or repairs are needed, and manage these projects end-to-end - from scoping and budgeting through contractor coordination and delivery - covering lighter-touch works as well as select larger capital projects. Partnering closely with Store Operations, Store Management, and Facilities, you will align every intervention with trading calendars and day-to-day operations to keep disruption to a minimum, while also supporting select new development projects alongside the Expansion Store Development Director. Your work will directly shape how the existing store network performs, keeping the portfolio safe, on-brand, and commercially strong. This role offers real ownership and strategic impact, with the opportunity to build lasting cross-functional relationships across Retail, Operations, and Facilities.
