Job summary

Runware is seeking a Staff/Senior Software Engineer to technically lead and build our serverless platform. You will shape the architecture, mentor engineers, and collaborate with leadership to bring a new product line to market.

You’ll connect Runware's high-performance sonic inference engine to a scalable backend, designing APIs, scheduling, and observability to enable developers to deploy models with ease and reliability.

Qualifications

• Senior/Staff-level software engineer with backend focus and platform experience.
• Experience building distributed systems and developer platforms.
• Strong background in Go and async processing, queues, retries, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of Runware's serverless platform core.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineers.
• Collaborate with infra and ML teams to optimize performance and startup times.
• Ensure reliable, scalable, observable systems with strong ownership.
