Runware is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to turn ambitious ideas into production systems that delight developers and deliver real business impact. You'll work across the stack—from backend APIs and orchestration to SDKs, dashboards, and developer tools.

You will own design and delivery end-to-end, mentor teammates, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship robust, scalable AI platforms. The role mixes technical depth with product sense and leadership to shape how we build, deploy,

Qualifications

• Distributed systems with high performance and scalability.
• Backend design and API development experience.
• Experience with asynchronous processing, queues, and streaming data.
• Cloud and on-prem infrastructure experience.
• Strong system design, performance optimisation, and scalability principles.
• Clear communicator who leads technical projects across teams.
• Mentors engineers and raises engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of core systems powering Runware's AI platform
• Build and evolve backend APIs, SDKs, and developer tools
• Integrate and optimise image and video models with new modalities
• Architect scalable, reliable inference orchestration and workload optimisation
• Collaborate with platform and infra teams to improve performance and observability
• Shape technical direction through architectural discussions and long-term planning
• Mentor engineers through code and design reviews
• Contribute to documentation and tooling to improve developer experience
• Drive initiatives to improve how we build, deploy, and maintain the platform
