Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Platform group, based in the Netherlands. You will own the long-term architecture of a large-scale, event-driven streaming platform powering real-time financial services.

You’ll lead design decisions, strengthen security, and mentor engineers across a globally distributed team while delivering high‑volume streaming systems. You will work primarily with Go and Redpanda, shape authentication, developer experience, and AI-native development,

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience, including several years operating systems at significant scale.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end architecture and a 2–3 year roadmap for the event streaming platform, including Redpanda and client libraries.
