Job summary

Nebius is building a full-stack AI cloud platform with a Kubernetes-native approach to run AI systems. You will lead the mk8s Core team, owning the API and control plane, while starting as an IC and growing into managerial responsibilities.

We expect you to be a senior or staff engineer, with 8+ years in software engineering or management, and strong Golang and Kubernetes expertise. This role offers significant ownership and impact across international data centers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering or management experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Golang.
• Experience leading engineers on multi-month technical projects.
• Owning multi-month technical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example: write/review code, lead projects, participate in on-call rotation and post-incident analysis.
• Manage 4–8 mid-to-senior engineers, provide context, coaching and feedback.
• Maintain the technical vision for your area of responsibility.
• Collaborate with the Product Manager and Service Owner to shape product vision and plans.
