Job summary

Nebius is seeking a Backend Engineer to contribute to the development of our hyperscaler platform. You will build and improve cloud services across compute, storage, networking and AI workflows, collaborating with engineers across the company.

We value strong C++ experience and fluency in English, plus knowledge of Python, Java or Go. This is a full-time role at our UK base with opportunities for growth and impact on AI projects.

The role

We’re looking for a Backend Engineer to contribute to the development of our hyperscaler platform.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Develop fault-tolerant, reliable cloud services: cloud infrastructure, managed databases, managed Kubernetes, billing, monitoring systems, ML service and more.

We Expect You To Have

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience;
• Knowledge of C++ programming language;
• Knowledge of Python, Java, and Go is a plus;
• Ability to write reliable code and dig into complex problems;
• Teamwork-oriented approach;
• Fluency in English.
