Job summary

CFS in Holland, MI is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, including reconciliations, financial data handling, ERP workflows, and process improvements.

You will download data, assist with automation, and maintain accurate records as part of a collaborative accounting team.

The role requires 1–2+ years of reconciliation experience and a degree in Accounting or Finance; NetSuite experience is a plus.

Staff Accountant

Location: Holland, MI

Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Position Type: Full-Time | Fully Onsite

Responsibilities

• Download financial data from multiple systems, manipulate and prepare it for upload into NetSuite
• Import financial information from platforms
• Assist with automation initiatives related to financial data imports and processes
• Complete daily bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare weekly ACH collections for approval based on customer due dates
• Prepare weekly ACH payment runs for approval using established payment schedules
• Maintain accurate financial records and support the accounting team with additional projects as needed

Qualifications

Required

• 1-2+ years of reconciliation experience
• Experience working within an ERP system
• Solid understanding of debits and credits
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred

• Experience with NetSuite
• Experience using AI tools to improve efficiency or automate processes
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
