Job summary

IBG Netherlands – Amsterdam Sloterdijk invites you to join our Procurement & SRM Data Management internship. You will support the Procurement team with the launch and ongoing data management of our SRM tool, ensuring supplier data is complete, accurate, and well organized to support supplier management.

This paid internship offers 32 hours per week, a laptop, lunch allowance, and guidance from the Concept & Innovation team as you work on real client cases and learn data-driven purchasing.

Qualifications

• Proactive and detail‑oriented intern in a structured, international environment.
• Comfort with databases, digital platforms and Excel.
• Analytical mindset with ability to review data critically.
• Identify inconsistencies, missing information and duplicate records in datasets.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills; able to work independently and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Good written and spoken English; interest in procurement and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Support the SRM tool launch and ongoing data management.
• Review and correct supplier records already uploaded in the SRM tool.
• Identify missing supplier data and help collect it from internal stakeholders or suppliers.
• Upload and organize supplier‑related documents in the system.
• Maintain data‑quality standards and follow up on open data points.
• Assist the Procurement team with administrative activities related to supplier management.
• Provide basic reporting on data completeness and supplier information.
