Job summary

Li Auto, a fast-growing AI-driven auto company in the Netherlands, seeks a Spare Parts Manager for the Netherlands PDC and European dealer operations. You will manage daily warehouse activities, forecast demand, and coordinate cross-border parts supply to ensure high availability and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 5+ years in automotive spare parts or Aftersales, with strong ERP/DMS and Excel skills, and fluency in English. Dutch language is a plus; travel within Europe is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, automotive engineering, business administration or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in automotive spare parts operations, aftersales, warehouse management or supply chain.
  • Experience with automotive OEMs, importers, distributors or dealer networks preferred.
  • Experience supporting multiple European markets is desirable.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Spare Parts Manager to lead spare parts operations for our Netherlands Parts Distribution Center (PDC) while supporting dealer parts operations across Europe.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily warehouse and inventory activities, coordinating dealer spare parts orders, ensuring efficient logistics and system operations, and supporting the development of aftersales parts business in emerging European markets.

As a fast-growing automotive company, this role requires a hands-on professional who can operate both strategically and operationally, working closely with dealers, logistics providers, headquarters, and local market teams to ensure high parts availability and excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Parts Warehouse & Inventory Management
  • Manage daily operations of the Netherlands Parts Distribution Center (PDC).
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability for service and warranty requirements.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound parts logistics with third-party logistics providers (3PL).
  • Monitor warehouse KPIs including inventory turnover, stock accuracy, order fulfillment, and delivery performance.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements in warehouse efficiency and operational processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Dealer Parts Operations
  • Manage dealer spare parts order processing and fulfillment.
  • Serve as the primary contact for dealer parts inquiries, order issues, backorders, and escalation cases.
  • Monitor order status and proactively communicate supply updates to dealer partners.
  • Support dealer parts business development and improve parts service levels.
  • Provide training and operational guidance to dealer parts personnel.
  • Collaborate with dealer network teams to optimize parts supply performance.
Parts Planning & Supply Chain Coordination
  • Forecast parts demand based on vehicle population, sales forecasts, warranty trends, and service requirements.
  • Coordinate replenishment activities with headquarters and regional supply chain teams.
  • Manage backorder situations and implement corrective actions to minimize vehicle downtime.
  • Support new vehicle launches by ensuring spare parts readiness and availability.
  • Analyze parts consumption trends and recommend inventory optimization strategies.
Systems & Data Management
  • Operate and maintain spare parts management systems, ERP systems, and dealer ordering platforms.
  • Ensure accurate master data maintenance including parts catalogues, pricing, supersessions, and inventory records.
  • Generate regular reports and performance analyses for management review.
  • Support system implementation, process development, and digitalization initiatives.
European Market Support
  • Support spare parts operations for additional European markets beyond the Netherlands.
  • Coordinate cross-border parts supply activities and emergency order fulfillment.
  • Assist in establishing parts distribution processes for newly launched European markets.
  • Work closely with country managers, aftersales teams, and dealer partners across Europe.
  • Participate in developing European aftersales and parts supply strategies.
Warranty & Technical Support Coordination
  • Collaborate with warranty and technical teams to ensure timely parts availability for warranty repairs.
  • Support critical vehicle-off-road (VOR) cases and urgent service requests.
  • Monitor service campaign and recall parts availability and distribution.
Compliance & Process Development
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and European automotive industry standards.
  • Develop and document parts operation procedures and best practices.
  • Support audits and inventory control reviews when required.
Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Automotive Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Equivalent industry experience may be considered.
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive spare parts operations, aftersales, warehouse management, or supply chain management.
  • Experience with automotive OEMs, importers, distributors, or dealer networks is preferred.
  • Experience supporting multiple European markets is highly desirable.
  • Start-up or fast-growth company experience is considered an advantage.
Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of automotive spare parts operations and distribution processes.
  • Experience with ERP systems and dealer management systems (DMS).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
  • Understanding of inventory planning, forecasting, and logistics management.
  • Familiarity with warranty and aftersales processes is preferred.
Language Skills
  • Fluent English is required.
  • Dutch is an advantage.
  • Additional European languages (German, French, Spanish, Italian) are a plus.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands‑on and proactive working style.
