About Us

De L’Europe Amsterdam is one of the Netherlands’ most iconic five-star hotels, located on the banks of the Amstel in the heart of Amsterdam. Our Spa & Wellness is a place where guests come to slow down, and where every detail matters. We work according to Forbes Travel Guide five-star standards and partner with Biologique-Recherche, one of the most respected skincare brands in the world. We are looking for a Spa Internship Trainee who is genuinely interested in wellness and luxury hospitality, and who wants to learn what it really takes to deliver a five-star guest experience.

What You’ll Do

As Spa Internship Trainee you play a real part in the day-to-day running of our spa. You are one of the first people our guests encounter, and you set the tone for their visit. You make sure the spa environment is always calm, clean and perfectly presented, assist therapists with the preparation and breakdown of treatment rooms, and help guests feel at ease from the moment they arrive.

You support the reception team with bookings, guest enquiries and scheduling, and provide clear information about our facilities, treatments and products. You keep treatment rooms stocked, linens replenished and hygiene standards on point. You also assist with daily operational tasks, checklists and inventory, and you communicate proactively with the rest of the team to keep things running smoothly.

Note: this internship does not include performing treatments.

Who You Are

• Currently studying Hospitality, Tourism, Spa & Wellness or a related field
• Genuinely interested in wellness, luxury hospitality and guest service
• Professional in your appearance and naturally attentive to the people around you
• Proactive, detail-oriented and eager to learn
• A good communicator who works well in a team
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
• Experience in the beauty or spa industry is a plus, but not required
