Investigo is seeking a Buyer for a Main Contractor role within the Dutch infrastructure and industrial sector in Rotterdam. This position involves sourcing, managing subcontractors, and leading tender processes. The ideal candidate has procurement experience in civil, structural, or mechanical packages and strong knowledge of local markets in the Netherlands and Belgium. You will work closely with project teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives and conducting evaluations and negotiations. Your Role

You will be responsible for sourcing, tendering, and managing subcontractors across a range of industrial construction packages, ensuring the right partners, pricing, and contract conditions are in place.

You will work closely with engineering and project teams and act as the commercial interface to the subcontractor and supplier market.

Scope of Procurement

• Mechanical installation contractors (mechanische montage contractors)

What You Will Do

• Lead RFQs and tender processes for subcontracted work packages
• Identify and manage local subcontractors and suppliers in the NL/BE region
• Conduct commercial bid evaluations and negotiations
• Manage contracts, variations, and supplier performance
• Ensure alignment with project scope, schedule, and cost objectives

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in procurement of civil, structural, and/or mechanical packages
• Strong knowledge of local subcontractor markets (Netherlands / Belgium)
• Experience in construction or industrial project environments
