Job summary

EVEREC in Amsterdam is seeking a Solutions/Presales Engineer to join its growing EV charging and energy infrastructure team. This is the first technical hire in the Netherlands, combining solutions engineering, presales and project delivery to turn complex requirements into practical, commercially viable solutions.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineer with 5+ years in solutions, presales, project engineering or electrical infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of electrical and grid-connected systems.
• Experience with DC fast charging, EV charging, electrical distribution, energy or similar infrastructure.
• Fluent Dutch and English.
• Right to work in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

A rapidly growing international technology business operating in EV charging and energy infrastructure is looking for a Solutions / Presales Engineer to become its first technical hire in the Netherlands.

The business is developing advanced, grid-connected charging technology designed to support the growing demand for high-power EV charging, particularly across commercial and fleet applications.

This is a highly technical, customer-facing position combining solutions engineering, presales and project delivery. You will work closely with customers, energy companies, grid stakeholders, technical teams and delivery partners to understand complex requirements and turn them into practical, commercially viable solutions.

The initial focus will be on the Dutch market, with the opportunity to become increasingly involved in projects across wider Europe as the business scales.

The Role

A technical, customer-facing role sitting across solutions engineering, grid infrastructure and project delivery.

About You

An Electrical Engineer or Solutions Engineer who enjoys solving complex infrastructure problems and working directly with customers.

You should be comfortable discussing technical requirements with engineers, grid stakeholders and infrastructure partners, while simplifying complex topics for commercial audiences.

Pragmatic, commercially aware and confident making decisions in a fast-moving environment.

Experience

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems or similar.
• 5+ years' experience in solutions, presales, project engineering or electrical infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of electrical and grid-connected systems.
• Experience with DC fast charging, EV charging, electrical distribution, energy or similar infrastructure.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Comfortable working with customers and external technical partners.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
• Fluent Dutch and English.
• Right to work in the Netherlands.
