Sales Manager - EV Charging Solutions
ELECREST is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to expand our presence in the European EV charging market. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key customer relationships and building a strong regional sales pipeline. You will work closely with charge point operators, distributors, fleet operators, infrastructure providers and other industry partners to promote ELECREST’s high-power DC charging solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong B2B sales background, a solid understanding of the EV charging or energy infrastructure sector, and the ability to manage complex, long-term commercial projects from initial contact through to contract completion.

What you will do
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with ELECREST’s European growth objectives.
- Identify and engage potential customers, including charge point operators, distributors, fleet operators, energy companies and infrastructure partners.
- Build, manage and maintain a qualified sales pipeline across assigned markets.
- Develop long-term relationships with key accounts and strategic partners.
- Present ELECREST’s DC charging products, technical capabilities and commercial value to prospective customers.
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate with technical teams to prepare suitable charging solutions.
- Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, forecasts and contract documentation.
- Lead commercial negotiations and support customers throughout the decision-making process.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, customer demand and regulatory developments.
- Represent ELECREST at industry exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings and networking events.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales activity records within the company’s CRM system.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, market feedback and performance reports to management.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, engineering and after-sales teams to support successful project delivery.
- Achieve agreed revenue, margin and customer acquisition targets.
What you will bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Energy, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in B2B sales, business development or key account management.
- Experience in EV charging, e-mobility, renewable energy, electrical equipment, power electronics or infrastructure is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop new markets and manage complex enterprise sales cycles.
- Strong commercial negotiation, presentation and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to understand technical products and communicate their commercial value clearly.
- Experience working with distributors, infrastructure providers, charge point operators or project-based customers is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and opportunities.
- Self-motivated, target-driven and comfortable working independently across international markets.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Additional European language skills, particularly Dutch, German or French, are advantageous.
- Willingness to travel regularly within Europe.
- Existing professional relationships within the European EV charging or energy sector are highly desirable.
