Job summary

Van den Bosch is seeking a Solutions Engineer to bridge business and IT, translating needs into practical, scalable digital solutions. You will analyze requirements, craft user stories and specifications, and ensure new functionality integrates with existing systems while remaining maintainable long-term.

The role involves managing releases, testing, documentation, and coordinating with Operations, Finance, HR, Sales and IT, with a focus on automation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in solutions engineering, business analysis or IT project roles
• Proficient English
• Strong analytical ability to simplify complex issues
• Ability to understand applications, data sources, interfaces and integrations at a high level
• Experience with SQL, data models, APIs or system integrations is a plus
• Independent data and process analysis to identify problems and solutions
• Able to communicate across departments and levels

Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs and translate into user stories and functional/technical specs
• Design solutions and ensure smooth integration with existing systems and processes
• Manage releases and hotfixes including acceptance and regression testing
• Validate solutions during demos and scoping sessions
• Identify improvements and initiate automation and optimization
• Maintain alignment between processes, applications, data and integrations, and identify risks and dependencies
• Create documentation and provide end-user training
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver results
