Overview

Qblox seeks a Quantum Success Engineer to enhance our mission-critical operations. We specialize in providing quantum control stacks that generate the analogue signals necessary for the control and readout of quantum bits. The Quantum Success Engineering (QSE) team plays a pivotal role in ensuring our customer’s success by providing proactive technical support, gathering feedback, and ensuring customers derive ongoing value from the products. By fostering strong customer relationships and acting as the voice of the customer, the QSE team provides essential insights for product development and improvement within Qblox.

Responsibilities
  • Onboarding and Training: Facilitating installation, set-up, and seamless integration of Qblox hardware. Providing comprehensive onsite and online training sessions for our customers to drive adoption and help them get to results quickly.
  • Technical Support and Interaction: Offering continuous, timely expert technical support to help our customers advance their research and overcome challenges. An acumen for electronics and expertise in experimental quantum computing are highly advantageous for this role.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong customer relationships, addressing customer concerns promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction, advocacy and retention.
  • Customer Advocacy and Feedback Communication: Acting as a conduit for customer feedback to inform the Strategy and Roadmap team, thereby driving research and development initiatives at Qblox.
Your Profile

We are in search of a candidate who possesses:

  • Academic and Technical Credentials:
    • A PhD in experimental physics, with microwave/radio-frequency experiments or a Masters degree in experimental physics with 1-2 years of relevant industry experience.
    • Previous experience in working with embedded systems as part of an academic course or projects is highly desirable.
    • Must be familiar with programming in Python.
  • Professional Communication: Ability to communicate kindly and professionally.
  • Problem-Solving Drive: A strong motivation for problem-solving and the capability to advocate for customer needs and priorities within Qblox.
  • Industry Experience in Commercial Roles: Previous experience in the industry and/or a customer success role is highly advantageous.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in professional English is required.
