NTS Eindhoven is seeking a Software Lead Engineer to set the technical direction for software projects and coordinate engineers.

In this hands-on role, you translate complex requirements into architecture, drive design decisions, and ensure quality through code reviews and testing. The position requires a degree and 8+ years in software development, with C#, .NET or C++, and the option to work at least 32 hours per week on-site in Eindhoven.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in developing technical software using C#, .NET/.NET Framework or C++ (knowledge of C is a plus).
• Experience in UI development, for example WPF, and a strong understanding of OOP principles and UML design.

Mansioni

• Lead the technical side of software projects, including architecture, design and technical decision-making.
• Coordinate the technical work of engineers allocated to your projects and ensure alignment with project plans.
• Provide accurate technical estimates and planning input to project managers.
• Safeguard software quality by promoting best practices, code reviews and effective test strategies.
• Identify technical risks and roadblocks early and define and implement mitigation actions.
• Coach and support colleagues technically, encourage knowledge sharing and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Stay close to the code and contribute hands-on whenever required.
