Job summary

Sioux Technologies in Eindhoven is seeking a Software Architect to shape the architecture of state-of-the-art embedded and application software for high‑tech projects. You lead design, drive technical strategy, and mentor teams from our Eindhoven office, with occasional assignments at client sites.

You will collaborate with project managers, account managers and customers on feasibility, estimates, and planning, while staying ahead on industry trends and enabling innovation across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in technical software development across roles/environments.
• Experience as a software architect and a desire to expand in a new environment.
• Proficiency in C# and C++ for different OS, including state machines and real-time aspects.
• Experience with OOAD, Agile, TDD, MDSD and related development processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex software and processes.
• Adaptable in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and multiple stakeholders.
• Good communication skills to present technical information to all partners.
• Valid European driving license and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and development of complex software systems meeting performance, quality, and reliability requirements.
• Prepare offers and feasibility studies with project and account managers in collaboration with customers.
• Collaborate with project managers to define organisation, timelines, and risk mitigation.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to project teams and development processes.
• Develop and support training programs through coaching, training, and supervision.
• Keep up with industry trends and advancements to drive innovation within projects.
