adidas Amsterdam invites a Software Engineering Intern to join the Digital Experience team. You will write code for adidas online stores, gaining hands-on experience in frontend and full-stack development while collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams across .com.

As an intern, you will attend Agile ceremonies, learn TypeScript, React, and Node.js, and explore AI coding assistants like Claude and GitHub Copilot, in a dynamic international environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a fulltime student for the entire duration of the internship.
• Studying Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Available for the full internship period 01/02/2027 - 31/07/2027.
• Comfortable working in English, both speaking and writing.
• Motivated to learn, curious, and open to feedback.
• Basic knowledge of TypeScript, React, or Node.js.
• Passion for sport and/or an active lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Write code for adidas online stores used around the world.
• Script automated tests – just as important as writing the code.
• Attend Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, refinements and retrospectives.
• Gain hands-on exposure to frontend and full-stack web development.
• Develop skills such as TypeScript, React, Node.js, automated testing, and AI coding assistants like Claude and GitHub Copilot.
• Use AI coding assistants to accelerate development, while learning to review and validate their output critically.
