Job summary

Keiron Printing Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Eindhoven HQ team. You will design, develop, and maintain software for our sophisticated printing system, with a focus on machine control, GUI, PLC development, algorithm work and image processing.

You will collaborate with engineers across disciplines, participate in testing and contribute to proactive problem solving and project ownership in a growing company that values innovation and hands-on impact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
  • Five (5) years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong technical skills in C#, with ability to develop efficient, reliable software.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proactive attitude and ownership of project execution.

Job description

As a Software Engineer at Keiron HQ office in Eindhoven you will play a vital role in the development of software that controls our printing system. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, while collaborating with a team of like-minded individuals who share your passion for innovation. Much of the software will be built up from the ground, there is not much legacy code.

You will be involved in all stages of development and will be directly interfacing with engineers from other disciplines and with suppliers. There are many options to grow along with the company.

Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using your technical expertise in C#. The core of the software relates to machine control, with adjacent topics like GUI development, PLC development, algorithm development, and image processing.

Software Testing: Perform unit testing and on target testing to ensure the software meets the high-quality standards our customers expect

Proactive Problem Solving: Demonstrate a proactive attitude in identifying and resolving issues before they become problems and contribute innovative solutions to improve existing processes.

Project Ownership: Show a strong sense of responsibility for project execution. Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality. Take ownership of your work and drive projects to successful completion.

Team Collaboration: Be a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. Share knowledge, communicate effectively, and foster a positive and productive team dynamic to achieve our common goals.

Qualifications
  • A minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field to provide the necessary theoretical foundation for tackling complex challenges.
  • Five (5) years of relevant work experience
  • Strong technical skills in C#, with the ability to develop efficient, reliable, and high-performance software solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, strong collaboration skills
  • A proactive attitude, combined with the ability to identify problems and contribute innovative solutions.
  • A deep commitment to taking ownership and responsibility for project execution.

Highly valued additional qualifications include:

  • Sound knowledge of Beckhoff TwinCAT3 and experience with commissioning equipment.
  • Experience with or willingness to learn how to develop GUI software with Blazor.
