Job summary

Keiron Printing Technologies is seeking an experienced Production Engineer to transfer advanced printing equipment from design to operation and production. You will lead new product introductions, coordinate with suppliers, and drive optimization across the portfolio.

You will shape qualification, tooling, packaging, and spare parts while collaborating with technology teams and service to ensure robust production and continuous improvement for scalable manufacturing.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Industrial, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in high-tech equipment development.
  • Proven track record in opto-mechanic equipment development and bringing opto-mechanical modules from design into production.
  • Strong ownership, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead New Product Introduction and transfer designs to Production.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for system integration and testing.
  • Define strategies for continuous improvement of existing systems.
  • Oversee qualification, testing and documentation for production readiness.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and inspiring Production Engineer to strengthen our team. In this role, you will take ownership of transferring our advanced printing equipment from design into operation and production. You will organize and structure the introduction of new products and features, next to maintaining the released products of our portfolio.

Working closely with our first-tier suppliers, you ensure that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and innovation. This is an opportunity to play an impacting role in a rapidly evolving field with the potential to transform industries. It is a broad engineering role ranging from new product introduction to sustaining our released products.

Leadership & Ownership : Take ownership of New Product Introduction (NPI), oversee project planning and execution within your scope, ensure alignment with business and technical goals.

Engineering Direction : Support the mechanical design process from concept to detailed engineering by providing design input and review; after TPD (Technical Product Documentation) release take ownership in transferring the design to Production; contribute to setting up qualification tooling, packaging design and spare parts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Coordinate closely with all Technology teams and our first-tier suppliers to achieve seamless system integration and testing; provide second-line support to service team and willing and able to work hands-on at the machine or test set‑ups; coordinate trouble shooting and 8D analysis for Returned Materials ('RMA').

Optimization & Innovation : Define and implement strategies for continuous improvement of existing systems, focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness and manufacturability.

  • Testing & Validation Oversight : Establish product qualification and acceptance (Factory Acceptance Test, Critical to Quality, tooling), guaranteeing compliance with performance and quality standards.
  • Documentation & Standards : Ensure accurate, high-quality engineering documentation, contribute to design specifications; review supplier work instructions.
  • Strategic Innovation : Set up change management and take ownership in it: continuously improve our product portfolio and feed the change process to strengthen product development.
What You’ll Bring
