Job summary

Chikara HR is helping a fast-growing semiconductor metrology company in Eindhoven to recruit a Software Architect who will own the technical direction of the inference platform. This is a hands-on leadership role with no people management, requiring active coding and architecture decisions across the full stack.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, guiding architecture and performance optimizations while shaping how the department evolves as the product scales.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of professional software development with architectural responsibility.
• 3–5 years as technical lead for complex software projects.
• Proficient in Python and C/C++ for performance-critical code.
• Hands-on coding and review of code in current role.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the software architecture across the full stack.
• Coordinate technical work across internal and external teams.
• Oversee HPC solutions for processing large-scale metrology data.
• Guide speed optimisation of algorithms on high-performance infrastructure.
• Set technical agreements with external partners on deliverables.
• Hands-on work across stack when needed.
