Job summary

Independent Recruiters seeks a System Architect (TEMP) to define and evolve the system and electrical architecture for advanced semiconductor test equipment in Nijmegen. You translate market needs into clear technical requirements and own the end-to-end design process.

You will lead a cross-site team of ~10 engineers across Nijmegen and Hong Kong, coach designers, manage risks, and ensure CE/SEMI compliance in line with the product roadmap.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in high-tech engineering, semiconductor, test electronics, or similar.
• Deep expertise in electrical/system design, high-power and analog/digital electronics.
• Experience leading technical discussions and cross-site teams.
• Ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
• Experience with CE, SEMI standards or regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop system and electrical architecture for advanced semiconductor test equipment.
• Translate customer needs, market input, and roadmap into clear functional/technical requirements.
• Own end-to-end technical design from concept to PCB-level decisions and verification.
• Lead electrical design direction for complex systems, focusing on high-power analog/digital elements.
• Coach and lead a cross-site team of ~10 engineers in Nijmegen and Hong Kong.
